In today’s episode Heather Fitzsimmons Frey and Madison Francoeur sat down with Brooklyn Leschyshyn to discuss their work on their project “Young People are the Future: Youth Engagement in Living History Museums.” They talk about Fort Edmonton Park, the Ukrainian Culture Centre, and the Calgary Heritage Park, and how the experiences of young people at these places are helping to shift which narratives are being shared when it comes to our past in order to better understand the future. Throughout the conversation, they touch on topics such as food, literature, and shared memories of washing socks.
